...Sullivan who declared: "I know there have been some reports in the media over the weekend surrounding the future of Manuel Lanzini.

We have an unbreakable option with both Lanzini and his club, so any other team's interest is irrelevant.

Manuel has been a fantastic signing for the Club and we all hope he can maintain this superb run of form for the rest of the season."

Shit journalism again. If only Payet wasn't injured and he'd be on their list as well

Both too good for West Ham.

If this was a few years ago with any of the precious board of directors in the driving seat then perhaps this story would have a bit more credence

Unlike previous boards the current lot seem a bit more streetwise at not letting deals slip through their fingers at the last minute, then come back to the fans with all the sob stories

The only exception I can think of was Demba Ba, but even that was not really their fault

If Sullivan says the deal in place is watertight, it probably is, so I'm not too concerned, especially as the lad says he wants a permanent deal with us

Word from within is its already a done deal, and he absolutely loves it here.

Source - A close mate who is pretty high up the old food chain, non playing side of course

It's all very well saying sign him now BUT if he's being tracked by bigger clubs and he fancies them more then he's not going to sign anyway.

This happened same time last season with SONG and Brenty13 went ape shit demanding we strip Nolan of captaincy, give it to Song, and pay him whatever he wanted....then started going on about how this always happens to us...etc....

They probably aren't the only ones tracking him. He's too good to go un-noticed.

Agent spreading rumours to force a quicker and better deal from WH. Happens all the time.

Scouse probably don't want him. Find the quotes!

Lazy scouting this.

Medium size club scouts well and finds a gem.

Then supposedly bigger club sees him do well so thinks their so called "big name" can turn him.

Lazy scouse cunts, try find someone decent abroad yourselves.

More lazy media outlets picking this up now. I have a mate I know who worked in the USA as a journalist and he spent all his day trawling the web and picking up American stories, rewriting them to suit the UK reader and sold them to the red top rags. Same thing with news nowadays. A bunch of piss soaked journos looking through web sites to fill up column inches.

Liverpool are not a "big club" if success is the measure over the last 10 years. London is a greater pull for foreign players and the OS etc. Will take us to win something of note before journalists will change their tune though.

Any player outside the top 4 and playing well gets linked with Liverpool

The Spurs rumour will be next week

Lazy journalism

hes going nowwhere

players like Lanzini are the future and will be the driving force behind the new excciting era

Re: Lanzin being tracked by Liverpool!,
I suspect this is simply more column-inch filling "Media darlings can bully any player they like onto their books" bollocks, whoever wrote it.

Probably a sly drink or two in it for the author, though.

Re: Lanzin being tracked by Liverpool!,
Can't see any of our current crop wanting to leave before playing at The OS

Re: Lanzin being tracked by Liverpool!,
This is clearly a move by his agent. He will probably leave. Fuck him.
